Abhishek Sharma provided some stability at the top with a brisk 29 in 20 balls, and Abdul Samad, known for his explosive batting, lived up to his reputation by smashing 29 off just 14 balls, including some vital boundaries that momentarily shifted the momentum in SRH's favour. Despite these efforts, SRH's innings lacked a big partnership, and with Mohit Sharma's exceptional bowling at the death, capturing two wickets in two balls in the final over and conceding just three runs, SRH concluded their innings at 162/8, setting a competitive but manageable target for GT.
